Have your say

The Leven Programme is committed to working directly with those who live, work and visit the local area.

We want the community to play an active part in any decisions that will directly affect them. Through consultations and direct engagement, we aim to identify what the local issues and concerns are and, if possible, incorporate these into our plans for the River Leven and surrounding areas.

Current consultations

We’re seeking the views of Levenmouth’s people and businesses on two consultations we currently have open.

You can view both consultations on our consultation page.

Levenmouth Connectivity Project

We're working with Green Action Trust, Fife Council and Sustrans to connect the communities of Levenmouth by creating a walking, cycling and wheeling network that is safe and accessible for all. This will link to the new railway stations at Leven and Cameron Bridge.

This consultation closes on 16 December 2022.

Restoring the River Leven Project

Our aim is to improve a 2½ mile stretch of the River Leven flowing from Windygates to Leven. Our vision is to restore the river for the benefit of local people and wildlife, including making it easier for fish to move up and downstream of the Burn Mill and Kirkland Dams to breed and thrive.

This consultation closes on 11 December 2022.

To support these consultations, we are hosting two drop-in sessions to enable local people to come along and speak to the teams and find out more about the different proposals.

  • Thursday 1 December, Bayview Stadium (3pm - 8pm)
  • Thursday 8 December, Methilhill Bowling Club (11am - 4pm)
